What type of work did the project involve? It was a complete renovation of a large bathroom for our mosque which had to be done to a very high end standard. He also renovated the kitchen, which is a large commercial kitchen.

How did you choose BS Building Services? Barry had already been involved at a project in the mosque - converting a space into apartments. So, I was introduced to Barry through the engineer on that project.

Had you definite ideas before you talked to BS Building Services? Yes, I love interior design and I had created drawings for the bathroom renovation. I wanted it to be stylish and modern but very functional.

Did BS Building Services suggest new ideas? Yes, he had ideas - valuable ideas. I wanted to extend the number of sinks etc in the bathroom so we really had to make the best use of every millimetre of space.

How did the project run in terms of practicalities like scheduling and workmanship? Very well. I had said from the start that I wanted to be consulted on every aspect of the project. He promised he would do that, and he kept to that. Sometimes, that meant calling me 7 or 8 times a day. So, he was very adaptable.

Cleanup wise, Barry was very good. We have very expensive wooden floors in the building and he spent nearly a day making sure that they were fully covered with protective material.

He's very punctual. When he says he's going to come, he'll be there. He had a hard deadline to meet and it was stressful, but he did it.

And the bathroom has a beautiful finish.

What was the biggest benefit to you of using BS Building Services For the level of detail and beautiful finish that the project involved, Barry's quote was very reasonable. It was the best quote I got in fact.
